"It is true what everyone is saying about this dryer. The air pressure on this dryer makes the hair dry straighter and smoother than any conventional hair dryer I've used in the past. It is designed to dry quicker without the extreme heat. I suppose if you have a curly/wavy hair and want to keep it that way, than, this dryer is not for you. Also, someone complained about the switch position on the handle, but it is not a problem. The handle is slimmer than others I've used. I really do think that this dryer is worth the money. "Really does cut down on drying time. I was done drying fully in about 5 min as oppoosed to about 10 with my other dryer. My hair was also less frizzy than it was after drying with my old dryer (not miracle worker though). I must admit that it's pretty expensive for a dryer, but it does work better than any other dryer I have had. Don't expect to have perfectly amazing, straight out of the salon, kind of hair if it's usually frizzy. "I purchased the Hot Tools Anti-Static Ionic Travel Hair Dryer in June. I have had no mechanical problems with it at all. It is about the same weight, little less, than my old Conair. The barrel is almost 2 inches larger than those small white hotel wall mounted travel dryers. Works far better than those do. The folding handle is great for travel. I have thick, wavy, shoulder length hair and it is smoother, less frizzy just with this dryer. (I still use my Sedu Ionic Tourmaline Straightening iron though.)
